Privacy Policy

Short version

CySA+ 004 Academy (“the app”) does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no runtime network connections. Everything the app does happens on your device.

What the app stores on your device

The app stores the following data locally in an on-device SQLite database that only the app itself can read:

Your answers to practice questions and exam-mode attempts.
Timing and score data for those attempts.
Local settings you choose in the app (for example, timer preferences).

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us, to Apple beyond what iOS itself may include in optional device backups you have configured, or to any third party.

What the app does not do

It does not create or require an account.
It does not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any identifier.
It does not include analytics, crash reporting SDKs, or telemetry of any kind.
It does not include advertising or advertising SDKs.
It does not make network calls at runtime. Question content ships inside the app binary.
It does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location.

App Store purchase data

When you purchase the app, Apple processes the transaction through the App Store. We receive aggregate, non-identifying sales figures from Apple through App Store Connect. We do not receive your name, email address, payment details, or any information that would let us identify you as an individual purchaser. Apple’s handling of that transaction is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Deleting your data

Because everything the app stores is on your device, deleting the app deletes all of your app data. There is no server-side account to close, no data-export request to file, and no residual copy to erase.

Children

The app is intended for adult professionals studying for the CompTIA CySA+ CS0-004 certification. It is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no data from any user regardless of age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. Because the app collects no data, we do not expect material changes to be common.
