EXPECTATIONS
Read this before you install.
- Solo dev, I will be handling feedback solely through TestFlight.
- Feedback goes through TestFlight’s built-in “Send Beta Feedback” button. Screenshots welcome. Please don’t email or DM; consolidated feedback is easier to triage.
- Twice-weekly triage.
- Feedback is reviewed Tuesdays and Fridays. Fixes ship in the next build.
- iPhone only, iOS 17+.
- iPad and Android are on the roadmap; this build targets iPhone in portrait mode.
- Content.
- Question typos and factual errors that you report will get corrected. Report a bad question by taking a screenshot and submitting through TestFlight with your feedback.
- Same privacy as launch.
- No accounts, no network calls, no analytics, no telemetry. Data lives on your device and deleting the app deletes your data.
- Free during the beta.
- TestFlight builds are free. When the App Store version releases, install the update and your progress carries over. Continuing to use the app beyond the beta window means buying the $5 App Store version.

PBQ interactions
The four scenario formats (log analysis, command triage, sequence ordering, concept matching) are the newest additions to the app. Any interaction that felt awkward is worth reporting for me to fix.
Exam mode timing
The 165-minute timer and 85-item cap should feel like the real exam. If pacing, resume behavior, or the review screen misbehaves under pressure, that’s a priority bug to report.

Common tester questions.
How do I install it?
Tap the “Join the beta on TestFlight” button above on your iPhone. If you don’t have TestFlight installed, iOS will prompt you to install it from the App Store first (free). After that, tap Accept and Install.
How do I send feedback?
Take a screenshot inside the app, then tap “Share Beta Feedback” from the screenshot preview. Or open the TestFlight app and tap “Send Beta Feedback” on the CySA+ Academy build. Both routes go straight to me. Please don’t email.
Will my progress transfer to the App Store version?
Yes, if you keep the beta app installed when the App Store version releases. iOS updates it in place and your local database stays put. If you delete the app first, the data is gone.
How long does the beta last?
Each TestFlight build is valid for 90 days from upload. New builds reset that window. The beta closes when the App Store version goes live.
Do I need to pay?
Not during the beta. At launch, the App Store price is $5 one-time.
Can I share the invite link?
Yes. The link is public. TestFlight caps external testers at 10,000; if the pool fills, new signups will wait. Feel free to share the link or this webpage.
What happens to my feedback?
Bugs get fixed in the next build. Content corrections get merged into the corpus. There’s no per-tester reply, but you’ll see the fix land the next time I push a new build.
